INSTRUCTORS

JON HAWKES

Jon is one of the owners of 1st Castle and a Direct Access Qualified Instructor. He has been an instructor registered with the DSA for the last 8 years. He has been riding bikes for the last 14 years and is also our Advanced Instructor. He is very into his track bikes and riding on track days - he has completed the standard and advanced track training school with Mick Boddice at the Darley Moor circuit. Before Instructing Jon was in the Royal Marines Band Service for 10 years.

MAGGIE HAWKES

Maggie is also one of the owners of 1st Castle and a Direct Access Qualified Instructor. She has been an instructor registered with the DSA for the last 7 years. She has held her full licence since 1997. She has always been around bikes since a child, going on the back of her Dad's bike at 6 years old. Before Instructing Maggie has always worked within the motor trade, working for Motorcycle City as a Service dept. Supervisor for 3 years.

FIONA REID

Fiona is a Direct Access Qualified Instructor and has been an instructor registered with the DSA since 1997. She has been riding bikes since the age of 17. During a break from full time instructing in 2004-2007 Fiona qualified in Forestry and worked for the Forestry Commission for a year.

JOHN SANDERSON

John is a downtrained instructor registered with the DSA. He has been riding bikes for over 20 years and loves them.
